The big-bang-track of 2017, “Despacito” topped the charts in nearly 50 countries, including U.S. It is now the most viewed and liked video on YouTube of all time, the fastest to rack up 2 billion views and the first to reach 3 billion. The song has an edge of novelty and captured the attention of billions. Look for yourself;

What you need to know about Despacito;

Despacito means "Slowly" in Spanish, was released on January 12,2017. Watch the creators explain to them as they are;
The single is from Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi featuring Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee from the former's upcoming studio album. 



The song was written by Luis Fonsi, Erika Ender, and Daddy Yankee, and was produced by Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo. Watch the making of the video;


Critics said it to be "masterful sensual rhythms", "infectious tune" and "alluring, sexy and catchy".


It became the first song primarily in Spanish to top the Billboard Hot 100 since "Macarena" (Bayside Boys Mix) in 1996.



In a video produced by the website Genius, the Colombian producers of “Despacito,” Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo, break the track down to its individual “stems” to let us hear all the layers in the deeply textured sound of “Despacito.”



Several remix versions were released following the single's success. On March 17, 2017, both a solo pop version and a salsa version featuring Puerto Rican musician Victor Manuelle were released. On April 17, 2017, a remix version featuring Canadian singer Justin Bieber was released; this version helped to improve the song's chart performance in numerous countries, particularly in the English-speaking world. On May 5, 2017, both an electronic version produced by American trio Major Lazer and Colombian DJ MOSKA and an urban version produced by Sky was released. In July, "Despacito" became the world's most streamed song of all time with 4.6 billion streams.

It was NUST Olympiad about four or five years ago, and a friend of mine participated in the singing competition. On Friday Netflix released Death Note, a movie based on  Japanese manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, and views are really having a field day.
